The service offered is a highly effective power or traditional sweep. A selection rods and brushes or whips heads are chosen to suit the fireplace or wood burner being swept. Dust sheets are used to protect the flooring and nearby by furnishings. Your fireplace or wood burner is sheeted up to stop soot escaping whilst sweeping. After sweeping a smoke pellet is lit to check safe evacuation of flue combustion gases & a certificate of sweeping is issued. This is likely to be required to comply with your home insurance. Any issues found shall be pointed out and recorded on the certificate. Advice is given if required. Topics vary from the correct way to use your stove to the suitable location of fuel storage.
All prices are subject to change depending on the scope of work. These prices are for sweeping only. Replacement of fire bricks, glass, rope shall be supplied and fitted at extra cost to the client. However this work doesn’t take long and can often be done within the time frame of doing a sweep
